About Us

About Fiber Mountain

Fiber Mountain brings innovation to the physical layer of data center networks. Using sensor technology and software, with fiber optic cables and patch panels, Fiber Mountain provides real-time knowledge about deployed topology, network connectivity, planned and unplanned changes, security and intrusion detection, and overall health of the data center physical infrastructure.

The result is a known physical layer network with higher uptime, more security, and controlled operational costs.

Our Approach

The Fiber Mountain Solution

As the data center experts, our mission is to digitalize every physical layer asset (patch panels and cables) through sensors and software and empower you to monitor, control and secure it just like any other network equipment. Our innovation is in recognizing the disconnect between digitalization and the physical layer and applying our decades of experience in the field of physical layer infrastructure and networking to this problem. The result is a simple solution that allows companies to have a pulse on their physical layer infrastructure.

Who We Are

Fiber Mountain stands at the forefront of innovation, offering cutting-edge technology that transforms conventional data centers into agile and intelligent ecosystems of efficiency. With years of expertise, a passion for pushing boundaries, and an unwavering commitment to our clients, we’ve become a trusted partner for businesses seeking to optimize their network infrastructure.

What We Do

Fiber Mountain specializes in integrating artificial intelligence into the physical layer of your network. Our suite of products includes intelligent patch panels, network management software, smart cables and more — all designed to enhance connectivity, visibility, and control. Our Philosophy

We believe that the physical layer is the heartbeat of any network, and adding intelligence to this foundation can unlock unparalleled capabilities. Our philosophy is centered around simplifying the complex, empowering you to manage, monitor, and adapt to the ever-evolving demands of your digital landscape.

Our Mission

A known physical layer, with higher uptime and controlled cost

Fiber Mountain provides real-time knowledge of deployed topology, network connectivity, planned and unplanned changes, security and intrusion detection, and the overall health of the data center’s physical infrastructure.

Built on AI-powered management and zero-trust principles, it’s how we enable secure, automated networks globally.

What We Deliver

Security

FIPS-certified, TAA-compliant hardware and zero-trust access controls with role-based permissions.

Serviceability

APL-certified products with proactive health monitoring and diagnostics that surface issues early.

Workflow Automation

Real-time, always-current documentation replaces manual record-keeping across the rack.

Our Story

From SENSUS™ to the new Fiber Mountain

Fiber Mountain was established in October 2021 with an intent to manage the entire data center network with artificial intelligence — software that discovers the vitals of a network in real time, so switches, routers, servers, cabinets, patch panels, cables, and their connectivity maps are known, with accurate physical location, at any given point in time.

The founder named the technology SENSUS™. Much like a census accounts for the inhabitants of a city and their relationships to one another, SENSUS™ would do the same for a data center. Sensor technology was evolving, and software was going to command how data center infrastructure gets managed — the way software changed taxis to Uber, it would change data center management to the Fiber Mountain way.

Welcome to the new Fiber Mountain.

2013

The original Fiber Mountain is founded. Early concepts and lab trials prove promising, leading to a seven-year engagement inside a Hyperscale customer’s data center labs — work the company counts as its most prized experience in High Performance Compute (HPC) data centers.

2021

As the old roadmap stays hardware-R&D-centric while the world moves to AI, the founders form Green Lambda Corporation (GLC) in September to commercialize software-driven solutions — and re-establish Fiber Mountain in October around the SENSUS™ vision.

2022

Nine months after raising capital for its software IP, GLC acquires Fiber Mountain’s assets and IP in July. Six months later, the company converges back to the Fiber Mountain name for brand loyalty.

Today

Fiber Mountain is the world’s leading company in real-time, sensor-based automation for data center assets — re-engaging key customers including a large Hyperscaler and the U.S. Pentagon, and licensing its AI/ML technology to rack, patch panel, and cable OEMs, including the world’s first software-locking connector for remote, port-level security.
